Discovering More
- Digging Beneath the Surface I like to jump straight in, so within a few days of booking, expect a questionnaire designed to help me uncover what’s actually real for you both. From there, I’ll draft your ceremony in a collaborative Google Doc. We can tweak and refine it together until it feels exactly like you.
Your Vows
- Mastering Your Vows If you’re feeling the pressure of finding the right words, I’ve got you. I’ll provide the vow coaching and support you need to ensure your words feel authentic and heartfelt, rather than just another stiff script.
Legalities
- The Legal Essentials (1 Month Out) I’ll remind you to order your marriage license through Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM). It costs $150, which you pay directly to them, and it usually takes about three working days to arrive. Don’t worry, I won’t let you forget this part!
Getting Closer
- The Final Cut (2 Weeks Out) We’ll lock in the final version of your ceremony. This is where we clear the last of the logistical noise so you can finally stop “planning” and start focusing entirely on the emotional connection of the day.
Rehearsal Day
- The Rehearsal (Day Before) We’ll walk through the timing and choreography together. This isn’t just about knowing where to stand—it’s about building the confidence and clarity you need to be fully present when it really counts.
On the Day!
- Total Presence on the Day I’ll arrive 90 minutes early to connect with you both and ensure everything is right on track. I’ll help seat your guests and handle all the “housekeeping” around photos and phones, so your loved ones can put the distractions away and just be in the moment with you.
Presenting Mr and Mrs!
- Making it Official Within an hour of the ceremony wrapping up, I’ll email your marriage license to BDM and hand you your physical copy. After that, you’re completely free to head off, grab a drink, and celebrate your collective joy.
